💼 About the Role

As an International Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting international business opportunities within the healthcare industry.

You will play a strategic role in expanding the organization's global footprint by building strong partnerships, leading commercial initiatives, and delivering innovative healthcare solutions across international markets.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new international business opportunities aligned with the company's global expansion strategy.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with international insurers, brokers, healthcare providers, and institutional clients.

Build, manage, and optimize the sales pipeline across international markets.

Design and present value-driven commercial proposals focused on cost efficiency, timely patient access, and clinical outcomes.

Lead negotiations and successfully close strategic business opportunities.

Lead contract negotiations with international partners.

Represent the organization at international conferences, trade shows, and healthcare industry events.

Monitor global healthcare market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities.

Collaborate closely with clinical, financial, legal, and operational teams to ensure successful proposal execution.

🧠 What We're Looking For

🎓 Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Engineering, Economics, or Health Sciences (commercial orientation preferred).

Additional training in B2B sales, international business, healthcare management, or international trade is considered an asset.

💼 Experience

✔ Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B or B2G business development.

✔ Proven experience in consultative sales within healthcare services, health insurance, medical tourism, or other high-value service industries.

🛠 Skills & Knowledge

✔ Strong understanding of international healthcare systems and contracting models.

✔ Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

✔ Proficiency with CRM platforms and digital sales tools (experience with AI-powered tools is a plus).

✔ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

✔ Solid understanding of international market expansion strategies.

🌍 Languages & Mobility

🇺🇸 Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2 required).

🛂 Valid visa and availability for frequent international travel are mandatory.

💰 Compensation & Benefits

💵 Base Salary: COP 6,678,257/month

🎯 Annual Performance Bonus: Up to one additional month's salary
